The winner of the
'Powertrain & Electronics' category is ZF Friedrichshafen. According to the jury, its 'AVE 130' electric portal axle is driving forward electromobility in low-floor city buses. Based on an integrated electric single-wheel drive, it enables locally emission-free driving at a high performance level - and is particularly economical. In addition, 'AVE 130' is designed to increase comfort: More space is created in the bus interiors and there are new design options.
