In terms of HSC milling (High Speed Cutting), the
Sinumerik 840D sl now has new functions and improved simulation. As part of the Sinumerik MDynamics technology package for 3- and 5-axis milling applications, an integrated HSC image for high-speed cutting is now available. In this way, all relevant information on mold making and motion control with Advanced Surface is displayed on one screen. In addition, all G-code functions for mold making, including the programmed tolerances, can now be visually marked.
