Conec has added 'Snaplock' variants to its D-Sub hood product portfolio: the hoods are equipped with a locking system that enables quick locking and unlocking. This eliminates the need for time-consuming screwing of the hood to the mating connector, creating a long-term connection without screws coming loose. The audible and perceptible "click" makes it possible to securely lock the cover even on device interfaces that are difficult to see. The covers are available in black or metallized plastic in housing sizes 1 to 5. Depending on the number of poles, they are equipped with two or three cable outlets, straight and sideways. With a retrofit kit, existing interfaces are also compatible with a 'Snaplock' hood. The system also enables a hood-to-hood connection.
