With the easyParameter app for the 'easy800' control relay, Eaton simplifies the operation of machines and systems. The app for standard smartphones/tablets (Android from version 2.2) with Bluetooth enables the manufacturer of a machine or system to create their own user interfaces for device control. The app has the language options English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Polish and Spanish. Other languages can also be used for the user interface. The creator of the user interface uses the app to specify which parameters (date, time, actual and set values of function blocks, annual timer, weekly timer, the status of marker bits) can be read or written. The states of inputs and outputs can only be read. User interfaces with different access rights to the machine or system can be created. Communication with the control relay takes place via the Bluetooth adapter ('Easy800-BLT-ADP'). The range is up to 10 m. An eight-digit security PIN prevents unauthorized access to the control relay.
