The plastic housing is made of robust polycarbonate, which allows use up to an ambient temperature of +70°C. Polycarbonate is characterized by high strength, impact resistance and hardness. The robustness was tested by Puls in the laboratory using stress tests such as shock and vibration tests as well as temperature tests. In addition to a cost advantage, plastic also has a clear weight advantage over metal. The housing has a DIN rail mounting.
