After an extremely tough year for the robotics industry in 2009, the Automatica trade fair, which takes place every two years, was once again characterized by a sense of optimism. This was supported by sales figures, which soared by over 50% in the first quarter of 2010 compared to the previous year. In the end, the trade fair attracted around 31,000 visitors from 114 countries to Munich.
