After 20 years in which the Interbus Club has represented the interests of manufacturers and users of Interbus fieldbus technology, the association will be dissolved in April. One of the reasons for this is the strong shift from fieldbus technologies towards Industrial Ethernet. The Interbus Club therefore decided early on to focus on Profinet as the future Ethernet-based standard and drew up an integration concept in the relevant PNO working groups.
