Bus-compatible position indicators from Siko are used for monitored format adjustment and offer the machine operator the option of displaying the setpoint and actual value on the adjustment spindle. The AP10 position indicator marks the start of the second generation of devices. The monitored format adjustment 2.0 aims to improve user guidance and thus optimize process reliability. The inverted backlit LC display is a new feature. The backlighting ensures that the position values are easy to read even in poorly visible places or in low ambient lighting. The LCD is designed as a two-line, six-digit 14-segment display and enables the clear display of alphanumeric characters. In addition to the direction of rotation arrows in the LCD, the position indicator provides clear visual user guidance via two two-color status LEDs. They signal the positioning status (InPos or OutPos) and also indicate the direction of rotation required to reach the target directly. The position indicator is available with either an RS485 or a CANopen interface. Integration into fieldbus and Ethernet networks such as Profibus-DP, Profinet IO, Ethernet/IP, Ethercat and Powerlink is possible via additional interface converters.
