Based on the 'MC 9000ex' series, Bartec has developed the
MC 92N0ex mobile computer series in collaboration with Motorola for worldwide use in hazardous areas. Wireless data exchange via WLAN enables direct communication with a higher-level PPS system. Thanks to their robust design, the devices can withstand extreme environmental conditions in the temperature range from -20 to +50 °C. Different keyboard variants for different application areas and a 3.7-inch VGA color display with touchscreen technology enable data acquisition. Operation with one hand is also possible thanks to the ergonomically positioned scan trigger. Thanks to the lithium-ion batteries, which are replaceable in hazardous areas, the battery life is sufficient for a complete work shift. To meet the needs of different industrial sectors, the computers are available in two different versions: gun and brick versions. The mobile computers have a TI-OMAC-4430 dual-core processor with 1 GHz, a memory with 1 Gbyte RAM/ 2 Gbyte flash and work with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN technology. Memory cards with a capacity of up to 64 Gbyte are available for data storage.
