The Type 8432 EXL submersible pressure transmitter from Trafag is suitable for monitoring the pressure and level of liquids in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as in the oil and gas industry. ATEX and IECEx certifications permit use in zones 0, 1, 2 (II 1G Ex ia IIC T4/T6 Ga) and in underground mining (I M1 Ex ia I Ma). The Ex submersible transmitter is based on thick-film-on-ceramic sensor technology and operates in pressure ranges from 0 to 200 mbar to 0 to 25 bar. In-house developed ASIC technology enables the compensation of temperature effects as well as a measuring accuracy of NLH±0.2 % d.S.typ. The design guarantees protection class IP68 at 25 bar or an immersion depth of 250 m. The operating and media temperature ranges from -20 to +70 °C. The Ex submersible transmitter is available in two versions: with M10x1 female thread and M22x1 male thread.
