The inductive all-metal sensors in the 700 series (Full Inox Extreme) with increased switching distances from Contrinex have been proving successful for some time now wherever harsh environments preclude the use of sensors with active surfaces made of plastic. Contrinex now offers the Full Inox Basic 700 series for all applications where robustness is required but the increased switching distance is not necessary. With the new all-metal sensors, Contrinex meets the demand for cost-optimized yet reliable and very robust sensors with a normal switching distance. The target groups for the Full Inox Basic series include all industrial sectors where the sensors have to withstand exceptionally harsh conditions. Extremely harsh environmental conditions and rapid temperature changes, such as in the steel industry, are no problem for them, nor are the extreme vibrations or impact and abrasion to which they are exposed in construction vehicles. In this sector in particular, the long service life of the sensors despite harsh conditions is the decisive criterion. OEM mechanical engineering also relies on the Full Inox Basic switches. In addition to robustness and the use of a wide variety of materials (factor 1 on aluminum and steel), worldwide availability and a competitive price also play a decisive role.
