If required, TWK Elektronik can equip its PROFINET and CANopen encoders from the TRT and NOCN series with slewing ring functionality. According to the manufacturer, this means that all conceivable transmission ratios can be realized and the encoder can be adapted to the respective slewing ring by the customer. As output values, the encoder then provides the position of the slewing ring in degrees (resolution adjustable) and its speed in degrees/time unit (time unit adjustable). The slewing ring functionality is also available for the SIL2-certified PROFIsafe via PROFINET or CANopen safety encoders.
