Schneider Electric has revised the Altivar 32 frequency inverters. They are suitable for driving both asynchronous and synchronous motors from 0.18 to 15 kW. Their slim design (45 mm width up to 1.5 kW, 60 mm up to 4 kW) enables space-saving installation. Motor protection switches can also be mounted directly on the inverter. The STO, SLS and SS1 functions are already implemented. The frequency inverters are equipped with Modbus, CANopen and Bluetooth as standard. There are also interface modules for Profinet, Ethercat, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, Powerlink, Profibus DP and Devicenet. Thanks to their plug-in technology, the optional communication modules can be replaced quickly. With the 'Multiloader', the frequency inverters can be configured without voltage while still in the packaging. A decentralized graphic terminal with plain text display is available as an option.
