The TK805L-EXW LTE WLAN router from Welotec supports the IEEE 802.11b/g/n WLAN standard with WPA2 encryption and can be operated as a WLAN client or WLAN access point. In client mode, the router can connect to the Internet via a Wi-Fi access point; in this case, the LTE mobile connection can be used as a backup link. As a WLAN access point, the router can be connected to the WAN network via LTE or wired; wireless devices such as smartphones or tablet PCs can communicate with the router via WLAN. LTE WLAN MIMO antennas with IP67 housing are available as accessories. These are equipped as standard with four antennas (two SMA and two reverse SMA antennas) for receiving LTE and Wi-Fi signals. PLCs, IPCs and other components can be connected via the Ethernet interface using the built-in 4-port managed Ethernet switch with VLAN. An additional WAN port is available for access to the Internet. The router also has two serial interfaces (RS 232 and RS 485) and I/Os. Open VPN and IPsec ensure secure networking. With HSPA+ and LTE, the router achieves maximum speeds of 100 Mbit/s download and 50 Mbit/s upload.
