'The fingerprint of water': Some large bird species change the angle of attack of their wings very quickly when landing. It is not yet known why they do this. This pictured experiment, submitted by Johannes Kühner, is intended to provide the answer in order to apply the phenomenon to new technical developments in the aviation industry: A green laser makes the currents behind a wing model visible in a water channel.
