Moxa's TAP-6226 is a complete system for train-to-track communication that integrates two wireless access points, a managed fiber optic switch and a broad spectrum AC/DC power supply. The system with IP68 housing and shock- and vibration-proof M12 connectors was specially developed for rail transportation. It works with the manufacturer's controller-based turbo roaming technology for applications such as Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC). In addition, it can power up to four PoE devices while providing reliable LAN connectivity using Turbo Chain technology.
