S.E.A. Datentechnik presents a series of mobile communication modules specially designed for the NI CompactRIO platform equipped with the Zynq-based controller 'cRIO-9068'. The
SEA 9751 and
SEA 9754 modules provide remote access to the entire application for users developing monitoring and measurement systems based on CompactRIO. According to the provider, a comprehensive data exchange and an update of the Labview application software can be realized at high speed and with minimal energy consumption from any location. The SEA 9751 module enables data transmission based on 3G technology with data rates of up to 14 Mbit/s (via HSPA+). The SEA 9754 model supports even higher data transmission rates based on the 4G standard, which can reach a maximum of 100 Mbit/s thanks to the integrated 4G/LTE chipsets. Both modules have an integrated GPS receiver that provides detailed geographical location information and time stamps with microsecond accuracy. The devices transmit a PPS (pulse-per-second) signal via the backplane or a special front connector, which enables precise time recording and time measurement.
