Gemac presented cost- and space-saving inclination sensors (Basicline) for mobile applications. Users can choose between different sized plastic and die-cast aluminum housings as well as CAN, CANopen, current and voltage interfaces. The sensors for one and two axes, for example, measure 68 mm x 36.3 mm x 20.7 mm and are therefore almost two thirds slimmer than their 'big brothers'. The sensors meet international performance standards, such as EN ISO 14982 for agricultural and forestry machinery and EN 13309 for construction machinery. The inclination sensors detect angles of up to ±90° with a resolution of 0.01° and an accuracy of typically ±0.1° (in the range up to 60°). The one-dimensional type can measure over 360° with an accuracy of typically ±0.15°. The operating temperature range extends from -40 to +80 °C.
