Datalogic presents the PowerScan PM9500, a mobile 2D imager developed for industrial applications. With the company's own narrowband radio system 'Star2.0 Cordless', it offers more range than Bluetooth and greater robustness, according to the supplier. The radio system is based on 433 MHz or 910 MHz and enables simple point-to-point connections as well as network setups in combination with bidirectional seamless roaming communication for more complex installations.
