In order to meet the growing requirements of increasing port densities and ever greater scalability in data centers, top-of-rack cabling systems have become established as an alternative to conventional structured cabling in data centers. Schneider Electric now offers a complete cable management system for high-density fiber optic/data cable infrastructures in data centers. The system supports channel heights of 60 and 110 mm and is available in widths of 100, 200 or 300 mm. Robust steel rails enable long spans of up to 3 m without deflection. Covers and mini patches can be clipped on without the use of tools. Open brackets for cable management enable quick cable connection and reduce the amount of work required for installations, extensions and retrofits. Cable trays, crossing, reducing and riser elements as well as outlets are fully integrated into the system and can be flexibly varied. In addition to the cable tray system, there are coordinated fixing and installation accessories including a wall bracket, ceiling fixings and screw fittings.
