Dekra analyzed 293 job advertisements in the field of occupational safety to determine which qualifications and skills applicants have the best chances in occupational safety. Almost all positions here require a sound technical professional qualification: the job advertisements most frequently mention an engineering or other technical degree (60.4%), with only a general degree being mentioned in one in ten job advertisements. However, candidates with a technical qualification also have very good chances, especially if they also have a master craftsman or technician qualification. This is because 71 positions for which a degree is listed as a requirement can also be applied for by specialists with technical training or a master's degree.
