The KNX IP controller from the Wago I/O system 750 has been equipped with a more powerful processor. In conjunction with a program memory that is twice as large and a data memory that is four times as large, this provides sufficient reserves even for more complex control tasks. The controller can be integrated directly into an Ethernet line topology via the integrated 2-port switch. The SD card slot offers additional storage space, for example to implement more complex web visualizations, to outsource trend log data or to create backup copies of the PLC program (backup & restore). At the touch of a button, the controller starts with a fixed IP address via which it can always be accessed and configured. Limiting the telegram rates and an optimized boot sequence should also improve network traffic. The freely programmable controller can be used to connect, control, regulate and monitor KNX devices from different trades. Together with the I/O modules from the Wago I/O system 750, additional sensors, actuators and sub-buses such as Dali or Enocean can be integrated into the controller.
