With the new Akas 3P press brake safety system from Fiessler, the press on modern press brakes can be closed to the clamping point in rapid traverse. During the entire closing movement, the operator is protected from pinching or crushing fingers or hands by the 3D laser safety field below the bending ram. This safety system therefore no longer reduces productivity. The system guarantees full safety in flat and box bending mode. In addition, the Akas 3P is CE type-tested by TÜV and cUL-listed and meets the requirements of EN 12622, B11.3, Z142 and NR12. The transmitter and receiver are supplied with a fully automatic electromotive support to ensure that the necessary adjustment can be carried out after a tool change with top tools of different heights without any loss of time. The setting process is triggered by simply pressing the setting start button.
