Pilz is expanding the safety gate system Psenslock with two product variants: One variant offers extended diagnostic functions, the other enables switching of OSSD outputs (Output Signal Switching Device) independently of guard locking. The system offers safe safety gate monitoring with electromagnetic process guard locking for doors, flaps and hoods in a compact design. The variant with extended diagnostic function offers additional benefits, particularly in applications where several safety gate systems are used: Users immediately recognize at which point a guard locking has not been activated, for example due to soiling. This enables faster diagnosis in the event of a fault. The devices are designed for applications up to PLe in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL3 in accordance with EN/IEC 62061. The safety gate system can be connected to all commercially available evaluation devices and to Pilz control technology. In addition, series connections with safe sensor technology 'PSEN' from the supplier are possible.
