The size of the steel pillars becomes clear when the fitters begin their work: There is room for six people (see picture). A jack-up platform at the installation site served as accommodation for the employees so that they did not have to return to land every day - after all, the platform is located 85 kilometers off the German coast. The journey takes around two hours by helicopter or 16 hours by ship.
