The web HMI editor SpiderControl from Ininet Solutions is now also available for the integrated web server of the Simatic S7-1200 and 1500. The new Siemens PLCs have an integrated web server as standard, but until now the programming of HTML or HTML5 web pages on these S7 controllers had to be done "by hand". Although this makes it possible to implement appealing solutions, the effort required for the development and, in particular, the maintenance of such HMIs is much more complex and does not meet the requirements of professional automation project planning. Ininet Solutions offers a comprehensive tool chain for the graphical programming of web HMIs, which can be operated directly on the embedded web server of a PLC. This allows direct access to a PLC with any standard HTML5 browser without the need for additional components.
