ifm electronic presents IO-Link masters for system integration in Profibus-DP and AS-Interface. Depending on the preferred fieldbus, they can be used to easily integrate selected sensors. The Profibus IO-Link gateway allows direct software access to all sensor functions in the hardware manager using the GSG file provided. These can be switching point and parameter settings. The "AS-i IO-Link module" offers a connection to the other Ethernet-based fieldbuses via the ifm AS-i gateway or software integration in Codesys.
