A new touch panel from Christ Electronic is available in sizes from 18.5 to 23.8 inches. A cooling system enables a completely closed design, without fans or ventilation slots. The UPS integrated into the housing ensures a controlled shutdown, which also prevents data loss. The panel can be used as a PC, SmartMonitor (for remote solutions) or monitor. Thanks to the IP69-rated housing design, no liquids or dust can penetrate the device. The stainless steel panel meets all EHEDG requirements for the design of hygienic machines, is GMP-compliant and CE-certified. All materials used that come into direct or indirect contact with the products have been selected so that they can withstand cleaning with most common disinfectants, cleaning agents and high-pressure cleaners without any problems. The glass used for the display is chemically hardened. The display is also protected by a PET protective film. The touch panel is equipped with multi-touch as standard and, according to the manufacturer, can also be used with thin rubber gloves without any problems. For a high degree of flexibility, up to 8 buttons are available, which can be freely assigned and printed. These also comply with protection class IP69. An emergency stop button is integrated as standard.
