Renesas Electronics introduces the new RZ/A1 software package, a new design environment for its RZ/A1 microprocessors (MPUs). This is a fully integrated software package that includes a real-time operating system, drivers, middleware and sample applications for implementing camera GUI displays, as well as the following components: A software development kit (SDK) with end-to-end support for camera input, LCD output and image adjustment. Furthermore, the tools "QE for Display" and "QE for Camera" are integrated, which enable graphical configuration of camera/display settings with real-time feedback. Seamless integration with the TES Guiliani GUI framework is also provided, enabling developers to create GUIs for embedded systems in minutes. Software developers can use the software package together with the Renesas RZ development kit to further reduce development time. This ready-to-use evaluation and development platform enables designers to start their specific code development almost immediately after installing the project and opening the tool suite, according to the manufacturer.
