The multifunctional UG 6970 safety module from the Safemaster family from Dold monitors two independent safety functions. These can be selected from the basic functions emergency stop and safety gate, each with optional cross-circuit monitoring, as well as from the other basic functions two-hand control, safety mat/strip, light barrier and antivalent switch. The device offers safety up to Performance Level (PL) e/ Cat 4 or SIL 3. The device is set without programming using three rotary switches and can be activated either manually or automatically. In addition to conventional screw terminals, spring-cage terminals are also available for the connection technology. If servicing is required, the plug-in connection blocks allow the device to be replaced quickly. The module also has a line fault detection function on the On button. LED indicators and semiconductor signal outputs are also used for diagnostics.
