The Vicolux tunnel lighting from Vision & Control can be converted into dome or cloudy day lighting using two accessories. In order to eliminate shadows and fading in the test image, insertable screens and covers are required for the ends of the tunnel lighting. Thanks to its modularity, the tunnel lighting series is flexible in terms of length and diameter and is particularly suitable for inspecting one-dimensionally curved or axially symmetrical parts or for inspecting parts with glossy to matt surfaces. The special design ensures homogeneous, reflection-free and shadow-free illumination. In a linearly moving process, the test object can pass through the lighting, which, according to the manufacturer, makes high process speeds possible without stopping the object.
