Q45 series - this is the name of the first completely independent wireless sensors from Turck. The partner company Banner Engineering developed the battery-operated sensors for object detection, position detection, but also for use on mobile machines. Their integrated radio transmitter establishes a 2.4 GHz radio connection with a DX80 gateway, which in turn is connected to controllers or HMIs. Equipped with two AA lithium-ion batteries, the sensors work for up to five years. With a maximum range of one kilometer and a guaranteed response time of 250 ms, they make detection tasks in wide-ranging applications easier.
