Lütze Transportation has added further Ethernet communication protocols to the Dioline PLC control system. In addition to the MVB, CAN, J1939 and in-house L-Bus fieldbuses, the Ethernet protocols Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP and UDP/IP are now supported. Further functionalities include a redundant CANopen master and a non-volatile 2 Mbyte diagnostic memory. The robust compact controller was specially developed for rail vehicles. It is freely programmable and can either take on additional control tasks as an MVB/CAN gateway or serve as a fully-fledged subsystem controller.
