Michael Koch presents the NEV 24 V emergency power supply for supplying a 24 V network with electrical energy independently of the mains. The device is designed for all standard requirements for regulated 24 V DC voltages in machines and systems and supplies up to 6 A or 150 VA. The power supply independently and automatically learns the externally connected voltage and thus the voltage level to be supported in the range between 22 and 26 V. In the event of voltage fluctuations on the mains side or a power failure, it supplies the 24 V circuit to be backed up without interruption. How long it can maintain the supply depends primarily on the demand of the load in conjunction with the energy available from the company's 'Dynamic Energy Storage DEV'. The power supply, which weighs around 1 kg, is pushed directly onto the dynamic energy storage unit without tools, locked in place and then connected using a cable with reverse polarity protected plugs.
