Hima is launching a safe, SIL-3-capable leak monitoring system: the hybrid Pipeline Management Control (FlexSILon PMC) solution. This pipeline solution integrates a highly available leak detection and localization system together with the Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) for safe shutdown in a safety controller. The complete solution protects the systems and controls and regulates safety-relevant processes for uninterrupted operation over the entire life cycle. It can monitor pipelines continuously, shut them down automatically in hazardous situations and prevent or significantly reduce damage. In addition to the automation components required to control, regulate and monitor gas and liquid pipelines, the complete solution also includes consulting and service.
