From the hand of American Eric Tsai comes a flexible home automation system that integrates various types of battery-free wireless sensors, including e-mail notification or alarm sound. The system detects light intensity, smoke/gas, fire, dog barking and movement. In addition, various sensors report when mail is in the mailbox, the box with wet wipes for the baby has been left open or the position of the garage door. Residents are also notified when the washing machine is ready or the laundry has already been removed from the machine.
