The iSA decentralized control system from AMK is a system that can operate completely without a control cabinet. The controller makes it possible to install all automation components directly in the machine module. The interfaces are reduced to a real-time Ethernet connection for inclusion in the control network and a three-phase connection with 3 × 400 V(AC). For the machine module, the controller offers a DC bus supply for servo drives, an integrated 24 V supply and control intelligence including motion control. Integration into the control environment is possible via Ethercat. With cross-communication in master-slave mode, the control unit can also be used as a gateway for Ethernet/IP and Profibus in conjunction with other control units. Thanks to the IP65 protection rating, the control unit can be installed directly where its functions are required.
