Elektra Elektronik offers IEC 61850 multilink-capable fault indicators for coupling to 'Siemens Sicam PAS'. They enable the integration of fault annunciators in the station automation of medium and high-voltage switchgear via the IEC 61850 standard. The fault annunciator is parameterized and the IEC 61850 interface is configured via a browser using the integrated web server. Settings for processing the messages can be made via the web interface. The files required for a higher-level 61850 engineering tool can also be exported and imported. The IEC 61850 interface supports all necessary services and functions, such as datasets, reporting and Goose. Ready-made templates for a wide range of applications simplify the integration of the device into systems, for example via a multiple connection to 'Sicam PAS' via IEC 61850 and in parallel on a second LAN interface via IEC 60870-5-104.
