Inonet presents the HPC-EM3 from the Mayflower HPC series with dimensions of 150 mm × 222 mm × 270 mm. According to the manufacturer, the embedded PC offers high desktop performance with the CoreTM i7-4790S (Haswell Refresh) and workstation performance with the Xeon E3-1275v3 and the H81 chipset. It has 16 GB of DDR3 RAM and a shock-resistant 3.5-inch SATA 3.0 HDD; a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD can be expanded at the front. The PC is designed for applications in image processing and video processing (e.g. 3D visualization or surface inspection). Expansion options are provided by one PCIe x1 and one PCIe x16, two PCI, eight USB ports and two serial RS-232 I/O interfaces. The actively ventilated PC is equipped with a 300 W 80Plus power supply unit and operates at temperatures above 45 °C. Inonet offers long-term availability of seven years for all members of the HPC series. Thanks to remote management, the system can be monitored and controlled remotely.
