Metal and electrical occupations dominate the processing sector. In metalworking, employers are currently looking for significantly more locksmiths and metalworkers than last year (110 and 165 positions respectively) and welders are also on the safe side with their specialization on the labour market. In the electrical professions, the number of vacancies for mechatronics technicians has risen, while industrial manufacturing outside of metalworking has primarily seen more vacancies for assemblers of finished parts and plastics processors this year. According to Dekra, however, the proportion of unskilled jobs in production has been declining since 2012.
