In Europe, the order situation was mixed: incoming orders rose in Russia, the Netherlands and Germany, but declined in Norway, the UK and France. The strong order development on the American continent is due to the receipt of the major order from Canada, the double-digit increase in orders in the USA and the strong growth in orders in Brazil compared to the low level of 2013. The increase in orders in Asia was primarily due to the double-digit rise in China, particularly in the Power Engineering Products division and the Industrial Automation and Drives division, as well as in Indonesia and South Korea. Order intake declined in India. Order intake increased in the Middle East and Africa, with double-digit growth in Saudi Arabia.
