Moxa's V2616A series embedded computers are based on Intel Core i5/i7 processors and have two RS232/422/485 serial interfaces, dual Gigabit LAN ports (M12) and three USB 2.0 ports. In addition, they offer six DIs, two DOs, a SATA interface and VGA and DVI-D outputs. The computers are EN50155-compliant, making them particularly suitable for rail transportation and industrial applications. According to the manufacturer, the interface for CFast cards offers reliability for applications with data buffering and memory expansion. There are two hot-swap storage bays for the use of additional storage media such as hard disks or SSD drives. In addition, the computers offer RAID 0 (striping) and 1 (mirroring) for greater data reliability. The embedded computer is supplied with pre-installed Windows Embedded Standard 7 or Debian 7.
