Fieldmate R3.01.10 is the latest version of Yokogawa's multilingual standalone device management tool. This software can be used to configure, parameterize, maintain and manage field devices in industrial process plants. The user interface of the configuration tool is specially designed for use on tablet PCs. It supports EDDL and FDT device integration concepts as well as all integrated communication paths for process automation protocols including HART, Foundation fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus and ISA100.11a Wireless. The software automatically scans the entire network architecture. Users receive reports on the devices found, including their operating status and basic device parameters. From here, users can intuitively navigate to device details such as diagnostics, configuration parameters and maintenance information. Standard features include test path and database search functions. In addition, the current Device Type Managers (DTM) for the provider's field devices, including FDT2 DTM, are implemented.
