Spectra presents Profi-2541, a Profibus-to-LWL converter that ensures reliable Profibus transmission even in harsh, interference-intensive environments. The use of two converters enables interference-free bridging of a maximum distance of 1.4 km. Data is transmitted transparently at a maximum data rate of 3 Mbit/s. The device automatically recognizes the transmission rate selected by the Profibus master. A version with ST and a version with SC fiber optic connection are available. The device can be supplied with a voltage between 10 V(DC) and 30 V(DC). It is prepared for DIN rail mounting.
