Koenig-pa presents a KPA EtherCAT master stack running on IntervalZeros RTX64-2014. This combines 64-bit Windows with hard real-time and the advantages of EtherCAT. The now directly accessible real-time memory in Windows and the resulting performance distinguishes RTX64-2014 from virtualization alternatives and 32-bit-based real-time operating system solutions. All KPA EtherCAT Master functions for Class A and B as well as sophisticated feature packs and extensions such as Hot Connect, Cable Redundancy and Multi Master are supported. The combination of Windows with RTX64-2014 and the KPA EtherCAT Master allows developers to create sophisticated and intelligent systems for a wide range of markets. These include, in particular, industrial automation, test benches and motion control.
