The multifunctional UG 6970 safety module from Dold's 'Safemaster' family monitors two independent safety functions. These can be selected as required from the basic functions emergency stop, safety gate, two-hand control, safety mat/strip and light barrier. The device offers safety up to Performance Level (PL) e/ Cat 4 or SIL 3. The Safemaster C can be set without programming using three rotary switches. Two different safety circuits of machines and systems can be monitored simultaneously with a 22.5 mm narrow device. In addition, the safety module offers flexible starting conditions; the device can be activated either manually or automatically. In addition to conventional screw terminals, spring-cage terminals are also available for installation without tools. The connection blocks are pluggable.
