At the SPS/IPC/Drives 2010, multi-touch displays were still the first to appear - especially projective capacitive touch technology. Just one year later, the picture is completely different: multitouch-capable devices on many stands. For machine manufacturers, it is time to take the next innovative leap in the field of operating concepts and explore the application scenarios of gesture control.
