Smart HMI presents a new generation of its HMI visualization software based exclusively on HTML5. This enables machine builders and manufacturers of automation components to create their user interfaces independently of the platform. The HMI runs on stationary operating panels as well as on mobile tablets or smartphones, under Android, iOS, Windows or Linux. It automatically adapts to the different screen sizes or orientations. The software supports gesture and multi-touch interaction as well as the creation of various design themes. It communicates with common automation systems. Functions such as alarm management, trend data storage and user administration are also available. Another feature is the web-based project planning. It allows project planners to create sophisticated HMIs without any knowledge of HTML5, CSS or JavaScript and control them directly on the various target devices.
