Siemens PLM software was used by NASA's JPL throughout the process of developing and testing the Mars Exploration Vehicle. Thanks to Siemens CAD (computer-aided design) and CAE (computer-aided engineering) software NX, JPL specialists were able to run through critical processes for the mission before physical prototypes of the vehicle were available.
