Siemens will not be integrating the Simotion motion control system into Totally Integrated Automation at the Hannover Messe, but is expected to do so with version 12.5 at SPS IPC Drives 2013. This means that the full motion control functionality of Simotion can then also be used in the TIA Portal. The Simotion components will then be able to be configured and planned via the intuitive user interface of the TIA Portal.
